As a consultant, James has provided a wide variety of services to clients, including culture change, assessment design, hiring systems, performance assessment, custom trainings, job analysis, and organization structure clarification. He has also worked with high impact leaders including police and fire chiefs, company presidents, CPOs, Program Directors and many more. Above all, he loves helping people pursue their values and goals through well-run organizations.
James knows that each organization is different and that solutions need to be tailored to their unique needs. This allows him to use an industry-agnostic approach that focuses on creating solid processes right for each client rather than copying what has been done in other organizations. Additionally, this approach leverages James' wide variety of experience in both the private, public, educational, and nonprofit spheres.
Additionally, James has extensive skills and experience in helping organizations learn how to understand the story that data is telling. He can turn collections of numbers into actionable insights and teach others how to do the same. He also helps businesses identify what data they should be collecting and how to best collect it.
When he is not on the clock, James enjoys writing and reading, playing basketball at the local Y, golf, and playing board games or Dungeons and Dragons with his friends. He enjoys traveling abroad and engaging with new experiences.
